The design configuration of the San Marino Outlet was created in synergy with the territorial context, modelled on the characteristic topography of the place, as well as clearly responding to the demands of a commercial structure.

The reference to keep in mind is the typical historic village built on the hillside, and becomes a territorial landmark, recognizable in the local landscape, in which the public space prevails over the built component and articulates the play of solids and voids.

The proposed layout, which winds gradually along the hill, allows the building to climb diagonally, making it fully compatible with the commercial activity along the road. The four aprons at the ends, connected by escalators / lifts, create alternative routes.

All the buildings and shops overlook this path, configured as a sequence of common spaces, typically urban, which can host various events. The terraced car park follow the natural profile of the terrain and the internal pedestrian path runs along the gentle natural slope of the hill. The resulting design allows to read the topography of the site and at the same time to maximize the surface of open spaces dedicated to greenery.
