The Landscape project of the Artisa Tower completes and enriches the architectural spaces thanks to a continuity of design in the different levels in which it is inserted, establishing a strong relationship between internal and external spaces, both in aesthetic and functional terms.
The main typologies in which the exterior project is divided are: the hanging garden on the ground floor, the large terraces, the loggias and the balconies in the façades. Inside, the greenery permeates the double-volume courtyard on the ground floor, rising in height to the glazed greenhouse that characterizes the top floors of the building. Due to the position, the architectural composition of the volumes and the orientation of the building, the landscape takes on a changing character, declining in a gradient that fades from “continental” to “Mediterranean” from bottom to top.
The shaded areas that characterize the ground floor are permeated by lush vegetation, with shades ranging from dark green to red, which are well suited to this type of exposure. The deciduous tree varieties allow light to filter through in the winter months, while the evergreen shrubs and ground cover retain their garden character throughout the year. As you go up the terraces acquire more light and warmth recalling a lighter vegetation, rich in yellow and white shades, and the presence of rustic and aromatic essences give that touch of Mediterranean to the green of the top floors.
This landscape gradient has a different water requirement, which decreases as it increases with the height and rusticity of the vegetation.
