The interchange car park in Marina di Ravenna is designed as a large permeable area that alternates with large free spaces with lawns and tree-lined patches that reflect the natural character of the nearby pine forests.

The idea is to create an area whose main function is to host the cars during the fruitive peaks of the coast, normally concentrated during the summer weekends, with an image of a large green space that resumes the character of the agricultural landscape, and of the nearby pine forests.

The infrastructural intervention is intended to be an opportunity to enhance the landscape, limiting the paved surfaces (asphalts) as much as possible, leaving space for lawns, created with techniques designed to support the trampling of mechanical vehicles.

The orientation of the parking area follows the trend of the agricultural texture, aligning the shading trees of the parking lots along the original axes of the agricultural drains. The woods characterize the image of the car park, interrupting the alignments of the trees along the parking spaces, and helping to provide the landscape with a substantial tree-lined heritage.
