The main objective of the restoration of the historic garden of the Province Palace of Ravenna is to understand the essence of the building while preserving the existing “double soul” through two different historical styles of the garden.

The restoration project is apparently minimal as an attempt was made to maintain the original structure, as requested by the Superintendency of Architectural and Landscape Heritage, but a large part of the apparently not visible work was carried out on the culture substrate, on the drainage surfaces, on irrigation and on the lighting system that favors the building and the vegetation rather than focusing on the single lighting element.
