The New BEIC aims to be an attractive cultural hub in close synergy with the green system and with the present and future public spaces intended for play, sport, art and creativity. The result is a project in which the external areas actively participate in creating a dynamic and engaging cultural place where the exchange of ideas, the meeting and the interaction between users and citizens takes place in a fluid and continuous way.

Circulation and accessibility to the area are studied extensively, so as to identify pedestrian and cycle paths to maximize the use of the site and ensure optimal connection to the slow and public mobility network of the city.

The BEIC park is intended as an extension of the library in the green where there are areas with seats immersed in the vegetation for study, relaxation and reading, areas intended for temporary or permanent installations, as well as an amphitheater for debates, performances and events , possibly used as an open-air cinema, and a socialization area with a café-bistro.

Furthermore, the greenery, creeping into the building to conquer its interiors, terraces and roofs, acts as an element of continuity to generate a complex of hybrid spaces to carry out activities both inside and outside the volume.
