The approach adopted for the landscape project of the Sicis Mosaics company in Ravenna was to give an artistic response to functional problems present in a deteriorated industrial space, where even the last references of the agricultural landscape had been eliminated from the industrial system and from the uncontrolled expansion of the city.

The project, which was born with the intention of restoring this industrial space, shows a series of wavy green spaces finished with artistic mosaics that transform the area into a parterre containing natural trees but also flowers and mosaic trees as a relation to the place of project.

The green lawn works, not only to mitigate the heat island effect of asphalt and concrete, but also to obtain depressions, functional to the lamination of the water in case of persistent rain.
